More Cruise Pics
Hope you enjoy our pics. It definitely felt more like Christmas when we came home to snow, but I have to say I prefer warm weather anyday. Everyone looks better with a tan. Like I always say, tan fat looks better than white fat.
Moratoan, Honduras
Itwas a bit overcast here, and Spence was fighting a cold, so we just took a taxi around the island, enjoying the sites. This place was so remote and very poor. Spence was getting bugged by people trying to sell us stuff. It was worse then Mexico. A couple people approached him to buy drugs too, which was kind of crazy. There were monkeys everywhere, very much jungle by the ocean. You just see dudes walking around with machetes, in the rural spots. It was a beautiful place but also made you grateful for the opportunities we have here in America.
The guy in the previous picture was so crazy, creepy, yet hilarious. While Spence was swimming he lays on his side in front of me and says in an accent, "You are beautiful. I wish I was your husband." I pointed to Spence and said sorry I have a husband already. Then he runs off and dives in the water next to Spence. He loses his shorts, like no big deal and proceeds to sing Spencer an 80's love ballad dedicated to us. He asked Spence is he wanted to box so I videoed them, but this is the picture I took. There is more to the story but lets just say he was creepin out quite a few people swimming, because he kept exposing himself periodically. We were the only ones still talking to him and he kept grabbing coral for us with his feet. Gotta love the crazies. More pics of the cruise.

Formal night on cruise
The only thing Spencer hated about the cruise was dressing up. I love to get dolled up and he literally dreads it. When I first met him he would always take off his tie after sacrament because he felt like it was choking him. He makes it for the three hours of church now, but he says that vacation is about relaxin not getting in dress up clothes.
Well, he appeased me and dressed up anyhow. For someone who hates to dress up he looks pretty dang sexy.

Kissimmee and our Western Caribbean Cruise
Our camera is acting crazy so unfortunately I only have a couple post worthy photos. I will put up more fun pics a.s.a.p. Debbie, here is the pregnant pic you have been asking for, about 3 weeks too late. I just started really popping out on our trip. It could have been all those buffets on the cruise. We all know Brookie can throw down at a buffet line, no self control, I tell you. I thought for sure I gained at least 5 pounds, but only gained 2. I was stoked. Spence and I walked everywhere since we ran out of cash for taxi fares. I tried not to complain too much. We stopped and had fun on the way. These may be the last vacation pics I see for a long time. I don't know the next time I will be able to enjoy my husband 24/7 alone for 10 days.
Enjoy the pics.
Enjoy the pics.

It's a Boy!!!
So I had my ultrasound yesterday afternoon and we are having a baby boy. We are so excited! My new due date is March 28th, my sister Shannon's birthday. I am 19 weeks and 5 days along. I was happy to know I was one week further along than I thought, but I could still have the baby in April of course.
Here are some names we have picked out.
#1) Stone Ryder or Stone Phoenix
#2) Cole Asher
#3) Roland Kimball
Roland is growing on me somewhat. Spencer is a huge Stephen King fan, and Roland is the "tight" gun-slinger from the Dark Tower series. He even read me excerpts from one of the books as we were road-tripping on our honeymoom. Gotta love you Spence!
Our names are a little different, but we like it that way. At least my momma and couple of sibs like Stone. So we shall see.

Sleepy nights
This is pretty much a nightly occurence for Porter and I. Spence caught us out cold while we were watching Pretty in Pink last night. I have never been a real night owl, but being pregnant I can dose off as early as 8 p.m. I let Spence pick out all the movies now because I never make it after 20 minutes or so anyways. I'm hopeless, sorry Spence. Will I ever get any energy back? Maybe this is just a preview of a mom's life except they are tired all the time and don't get the sleep they need and deserve. Fun times ahead.
The inside of our Casa
Per request of Amber I have some photos of the inside of our house in all it's glory. I thought maybe I should tidy up before I take pics, but this is the "real thompsons". Anyways we have three other bedrooms one empty, one full of boxes/storage, and one really messy one which is near our bedroom. That room has all my old wicker furniture and we will transform to the baby room in the next few months. The house could almost be a duplex with two bedrooms and a full bath and functioning kitchen on each side. It is a one story house and kind of narrow...and the backyard is kickin. A good party hosting backyard. By next summer I hope to take down some of the wallpaper and paint to give a more modern look for cheap. My parents were great and tore off the extremely old carpet in our bedroom to reveal a beautiful wood floor. And no more pink drapes in the bedroom. It did not bother my color blind husband, but I am happy to have a matching bedroom now. One room down....a few more to go.
My parents came to check out our new place the beginning of October. We had such a fun time. My dad enjoyed gettin his hands dirty helping with our irrigation canal. (I can't lift the heavy, awkward sized boards). We picked two bucketfuls of plums and I tried my hand at making plum freezer jam. (Yummy) My mom is very proud at how domesticated I have become. They loved getting fresh eggs and bacon across the street at the Fassio Egg Farm. Anyways my mom had fun giving me a few ideas on how to personalize/decorate our 1950's farm home. It looks like my mom has rubbed off on my dad in the interior decorating department. Nice job on the swagging Dad! Come visit soon Mom and Dad!!
Mission Reunion Pics
These are some pictures from my mission reunion the first weekend in October. One of the luxuries living in Utah is being able to finally get to a mission reunion after four years. I actually saw more people I recognized than I thought I would. If any of you have seen my mission pics I was a bit rounder than usual...the funny thing was I weigh less 4 months pregnant than the entire time on my mission. (That's a good thing, although you would think it would be opposite) At any rate it was a fun time. Wish I could see my mission friends more often. Such great memories.

Life in West Valley
We just moved to West Valley from California. We are adjusting to the lifestyle change. We do love the spacious yard, and our new pup Porter.
We are expecting in April. April fourth is our due....date. We are very excited about becoming parents....so weird to think of us two kids being a momma and dad.
